One Step Industrial will be holding a Registration Day in Wellington, on September 11th at the Wellington Community Centre, for job seekers looking for work in the INDUSTRIAL SECTOR!
With Businesses ramping up their output before Xmas, and with Brexit pending, there is a lot of movement in the industrial sector: getting the right workers in place as we enter one of the busiest times of year is vital.
However, a major stumbling block for recruitment companies in the South West finding those people is transport.
One Step stand above a lot of national recruitment agencies by meeting every single candidate we put forward for work, face to face – not only do we do our due diligence in real time, we get to build real, substantial rapport with the candidate and represent the real person, not just the CV.
A lack of transport, or irregular public transport, can sometimes be the only thing standing in the way of that candidate getting a job, and we want to do more to make sure we’re speaking to every candidate possible.
This is why One Step are committing to doing Recruitment Registration Away Days: we’ll be visiting peripheral towns across Somerset with a mind to talking to and registering job seekers specific to the Industrial Sector.
We’ll be setting up shop in Wellington on Wednesday 11th September in the Wellington Community Centre, from 1pm – 7pm.
We welcome any worker who has an interest in, or has experience in, industrial roles such as picking/packing, warehouse operative, factory workers, yard operatives, and more specialist roles such as millers, lathe operatives, FLT drivers, Lab Technicians and more!
