Yeovil branch welcomes Katrice
Since graduating in International Travel Management and working her first ski season in Italy and France, Katrice travelled widely over three years across Asia, Australasia and Indonesia. During her time abroad Katrice worked as a supervisor in a backpacker hostel, on a farm (as part of the visa requirement to work 88 agricultural days) where she met her partner and finally she worked in a travel company. Unsurprisingly Katrice was offered several roles following successful job interviews on her return, but chose One Step for our people and our input to the local community with the annual Somerset Skills & Careers Fair. Katrice and One Step are delighted she made the right choice!
Taunton branch welcomes Jack
Jack has joined us to front our hospitality department to take the lead in this sector, providing specialist consultancy to the county and beyond. Having begun his career working in a variety of high-end cocktail bars throughout the South, Jack then gravitated to London to work as a freelance events consultant, for clients ranging from major blue chip organisations to international tech start-ups. Jack spent the last four years of his career in London focusing on what he believes is the crux of hospitality, that is exceptional customer service. For Jack, the drive and passion for hospitality starts with front-line staff and management, coupled with a deep appreciation of local custom and standards. One Step are delighted to harness Jack’s vast experience and focus on service; we look forward to passing this on to new and existing hospitality clients.
