One Step are proud to welcome Jaydene Allan to the company as our new Care Recruitment Consultant, and what a few weeks Jaydene has had!
Based in our Taunton office but working across all three of our branches, Jaydene has joined the company to work on permanent recruitment with Care companies in Somerset and the wider South West region. Jaydene moved into recruitment after working in front-line care for 6 years, where she worked in home care, nursing, residential and senior care.
She’s prepared with the tools of the trade; has a complete and working knowledge of clinical terminology, training requirements and skill levels; has a realistic and honest expectation in regards to the limits and pressures within Care, and most importantly has working, hands-on experience within Care.
Jaydene has hit the ground running – within her first 10 days working she made 5 permanent placements, (a record for someone rotating into a recruitment environment!) – this is tantamount to her ability to communicate and build an immediate relationship with hiring managers within care, and her skill at managing the care candidate journey.
One Step are proud of our local roots, and the introduction of a new Care Consultant with such an in-depth knowledge of care processes and what it takes to hire, retain, train and draw people into Care in our county is part of our move to market specialisms, and we look forward to her becoming a staple resource for Care companies in the South West.
