One Step are working closely with a leading child care company that are looking to expand their team of Team Leaders within the Residential Homes.
As part of this role, you would be required to do a few sleep ins per week, earning an extra £30 per sleep in on top of your annual wage.
Due to the location of the role, the right candidate would need a driving licence and vehicle.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to support the safeguarding of the children within a challenging but rewarding environment whilst encompassing the needs and wellbeing of the children at all times.
A Key part of this role is managing the team of Residential Childcare Workers. Ensuring everyone is communicating effectively and clearly in a sensitive manner as well as actively listening to others. Ensuring all issues are reporting to Deputy Managers. Communication will be verbally and electronically, this would require the right candidate to be proficient in administration tasks, for example, word processing, excel and photocopying.
You will be presenting a positive, professional and appropriate image at all times whilst working inside and outside of the business and be compliant with GDPR legislation at all times.
You will be required to create a safe, loving and homely environment that will support each child whilst having the ability to adapt to all situations while responding in a calm and effective manner. Providing general household duties as required. To actively support and engage children both within and outside of the home in accordance with the ATIC model of care.
