Wow! What an event and what a day!
The 2014 One Step Foundation Somerset Careers Fair managed to surpass our 2013 event!
We had over 80 brilliant exhibitors, some fantastic free seminars including ones from Oxford University (life at Oxford), The Student World (Degree courses abroad) and What Uni (how to choose your University), an airsoft rifle range, a Gazelle helicopter, cake decorating, hair styling, nail bar, live working recruitment office with mock interviewing, and not to mention the Grease performing Flash Mobs!….
We had 3382 visitors from 28 schools and colleges from as far afield as Bristol, Shepton Mallet, Yeovil, Wells, Tiverton and Sidmouth. Some came in groups arranged by their school or college and others came under their own steam having seen our adverts in schools, libraries and the internet.
Feedback from our exhibitors as well as our visitors has been brilliant and here’s to an even better event in 2015!
