The Men’s England National Football team will be hoping to take ONESTEP at a time on their way to bringing home the World cup, starting this Monday 21st November. Our Men’s team will be looking to emulate our fabulous Lioness’s achievements in the summer in the heat of Qatar.

Halloween’s coming…
Kellys Dance Studio in Chard is hosting a childrens disco, this Friday 28th October. Here your child will play games with the opportunity to win some prizes! It’s fancy dress, so don’t forget to find your spoooooky costumes! (16:30-20:00). On Monday 31st October, selected shops on Chard high street are participating in ‘Trick or Treat’. Bring your children along to see the Halloween decorations.. and don’t forget to get to grab your treats!
Taunton Town Football Club
Last night, Taunton Town beat Yeovil Town in the ‘FA Cup Fourth Round Qualifying replay’ after drawing with Yeovil Town 0-0 at Huish Park, on 15th October. This result means Taunton Town will now play MK Dons in Round 1 of the FA Cup, at their 30,000 seat stadium in Milton Keynes. MK Dons are currently sitting 3rd from the bottom of the EFL League One. The game will take place on the weekend of the 5th November.
Taunton Carnival
After what feels like a lifetime, Taunton Carnival is back! This Saturday 15th October. The Carnival will start from the Bridge on Tangier Way at 19:00 and make it’s way through the following route – Wood Street, Bridge Street, North Street, Fore Street, East Street, East Reach, where it’ll finish at Hamilton Road!
