With country wide staffing pressures within technical and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) fields, One Step have invested in guaranteeing the best possible specialist candidate sourcing. We’d like to introduce our two Technical Consultants.
We’d like to re-welcome Sam back to the One Step Family – Sam previously worked for One Step’s Chard branch from 2014 – 2016 as an Industrial Consultant (temp), working on roles from Warehousing to Factory support, general assembly to mid-level management.
“I was able to take that experience of working in a fast paced environment, where efficiency and speed of service were needed, into specialist Recruitment in London and moved there in 2016.
I was promoted to Senior Consultant within a year. Due to relocating back to Somerset I’ve re-joined One Step as a Senior Technical Consultant.
My strong understanding across the STEM sectors and my experienced recruitment background means the job gets done with competence; you can rest assured that your vacancies and your business will be represented with a professional, consistent and reliable approach.
I will be looking after all clients situated in Taunton, and North of Taunton, working closely with Ben across business development, consultancies and team lead the technical division.”
Ben has gone from strength to strength with One Step – he’s been a central figure with our HQ Team in Taunton for half a decade and is making the move into a consultant role.
I’ve worked for One Step for almost 5 years. During my time here I have worked in a variety of positions from senior financial administration to resourcing; however over the last 2 years I have been focused predominantly as Payroll Manager and Office Management.
I am now looking forward to helping the technical sector in the South West evolve and grow – my experiences within multiple departments has given a solid understanding of how our business benefits our clients, and I know how specialised our services are and how to best utilise them for each customer.
I also understand how important it is to know your local area, and will be specialising in the South Somerset, Blackdown Hills and West Dorset region for Technical Recruitment.
