Our Client in Chard is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join their dynamic team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will play a crucial role in their operations by utilizing your expertise in operating press brake machinery to fabricate and assemble sheet metal components.
The working hours are Mon-Thurs 8.30am-4.30pm and Friday 8.30am-12.30pm.
Duties:
– Operate press brake machinery to bend and form sheet metal according to specifications.
– Utilize mechanical knowledge to set up and adjust machine settings for optimal performance.
– Use hand tools and tooling effectively to complete tasks with precision.
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role.
– Proficiency in grinding, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly techniques.
– Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot machine issues and make adjustments.
– Ability to work with hand tools and various tooling equipment effectively.
